Pilates can improve posture, alleviate back pain, strengthen core and body and increase flexibility and mobility. It is also proven to reduce anxiety and improves mental well being.

I have recently taken Pilates into the local schools so that local children can enjoy the benefits which include improvements to general health, bone development and reducing the risk of diabetes. In addition to the physical benefits, I also include an element of mindfulness aimed at improving concentration and awareness and combating some of the problems that are unfortunately very common in our children such as low mood, anxiety and depression.
